Andrew Phillips is a graduate of Edinburgh University. After three years in the banking sector he co-founded Intermediate Capital Group in 1988. Over twenty years he established a number of businesses within ICG including its UK, French, Spanish and Nordic investment businesses, as well as its asset management business. He left in 2008 as a Managing Director to set up his own business investing in start-up companies, mainly in the UK with a particular focus on the environmental sector.
Ross started his career at Gerrard and National Ltd., a discount house, in 1977 and was appointed as a director of the Gerrard Group PLC in 1986. In 1993 he completed the International Executive Programme at INSEAD before being appointed CEO of Gerrard & National Ltd. He was elected as the inaugural Chairman of the London Money Association in 1996. Ross remained with the Gerrard Group post the takeover by Old Mutual before leaving in 2004 to found JTP Partners LLP. Over the last 20 years Ross has served as a Non-Executive Chairman and Director of a number of listed and private companies. He joined the board of The Alternative Pallet Company in January 2014. Ross became our Chairman in January 2016.
Iain is an MBA qualified engineer who joined PALLITE® in February 2019. He has held senior roles in a variety of industries including FMCG, recycling, industrial services & commodity trading. In the last 3 years prior to joining PALLITE® he has helped SMEs achieve rapid growth and throughout his career has been heavily involved in the movement of raw materials and finished goods.
Sebastian Waldburg co-founding SI Capital in 2004. His careers includes over 20 years experience in energy finance, sustainable investing and private equity. He has an extensive European network built in the sector and the investor community. To date, he has overseen all investments of SI Capital and has been serving on the boards of 11 portfolio companies. Prior to SI Capital, he was the found and director of the private equity team of Riva y Garcia in Barcelona. From 1996 – 1998, Sebastian served as Manager of Project Finance and Energy M&A at Schroders Investment Bank in London. He has completed studies for BA and Masters degrees at Oxford University, Eichstatt University and SOAS, University of London and holds an MBA from IESE Business School.
Robert Audas is a chemistry graduate from Oxford University and has been a board member of several packaging, food & beverage and manufacturing businesses for over 30 years. Speaking French, German & Russian he has worked extensively in international businesses including the Coca-Cola Company, Guinness and LINPAC Packaging and has managed operations, start-ups and sales roll outs in five continents.
Previous experience as a non-executive director has been with private equity-controlled & public businesses in Packaging, Recycling and Food & Beverage sectors and has included both SME’s and international organisations.
Jon is a qualified accountant with over 25 years’ experience within the European Packaging market.
Jon’s early career was with DS Smith where he held several financial and operational roles within their packaging and plastics division where he was involved in the establishment of their packaging rental business supplying the European Glass Container industry. Following this Jon led Packaging Logistics Services, a part of the Bibby Line Group for 10 years suppling innovative Packaging Solutions and established the first RFID enabled plastic pallet pool in the UK.
Jon has strong links with FMCG businesses across Europe and is now Managing Director and a major shareholder in Ralph Coleman International which provides a variety of supply chain solutions to the owners of returnable packaging solutions including washing and recycling activities.
