ThermaLITE by PALLITE® is a cost-effective, sustainable alternative to polystyrene and foam packaging for businesses that need to keep temperature-sensitive goods fresh throughout the supply chain. It's made up of 100% recycled materials and you can choose from standard sizes, or craft a bespoke solution. Protect your products while protecting the planet.
What is ThermaLITE?
Planet-friendly, customisable, temperature-sensitive packaging inspired by nature and designed with practicality in mind.
- Food and beverage
- Healthcare and pharmaceuticals
- Home delivery
INSPIRED BY NATURE
Looking to nature for our inspiration, ThermaLITE features the same honeycomb cell technology we use in all our paper-based packaging products. The honeycomb cells trap air inside them. Air is a poor conductor of heat, so goods maintain their temperature for longer. Simple really. What’s more, honeycomb structures are proven to be pound-for-pound stronger than steel, meaning products are well protected in transit.
DESIGNED FOR PRACTICALITY
The ThermaLITE range is available in two different box designs, both of which fold flat for ease of storage and are simple to make up, with no expertise required. Made entirely from paper they are lightweight, driving shipping costs down. The combined properties of ThermaLITE make it a practical solution for direct deliveries of chilled foods, meal kits and pharmaceutical products, as well as any other temperature-sensitive goods.
A CUSTOM SOLUTION
The ThermaLITE range is available in standard sizes but can also be manufactured at volume to individual requirements. Packaging sized to products uses less raw material and minimises packaging waste, thereby reducing carbon footprint. Packaging fit for purpose also optimises your transport footprint, meaning you can trunk more units and improve your pallet yield.
Combine a ThermaLITE box with our other paper-based packaging products including pallets, shipping crates and inserts for a complete solution that ensures your goods reach their destination as fresh as they were when they were packed.
ThermaLITE is a fully-recyclable and renewable replacement for plastic packaging, including expanded polystyrene (EPS) and polyethylene (PE) foam. It has been designed with e-commerce and the transport of temperature-sensitive goods in mind, and to meet the demands of a circular economy. Fully recyclable by consumers after use, the ThermaLITE range is made up of 100% recycled content, making it a truly circular solution. Find out more about sustainability credentials.

Why switch to ThermaLITE?
BE READY FOR THE FUTURE
Estimates suggest the coronavirus pandemic accelerated e-commerce sales by three years in just three months. This is not a temporary situation: we are in a new age – one where more and more people are buying online, and the logistics industry will need to adapt accordingly. There has never been a better time to ensure your e-commerce packaging is fit for the future. We’re ready – are you?
MEET CONSUMER EXPECTATIONS
We’re not the only ones advocating businesses take responsibility for the environmental impact of the packaging they use throughout their supply chain. Plastic packaging, including EPS and PE foam, has had its day. Governments worldwide are legislating to phase it out and increasingly environmentally-conscious consumers expect brands to play their part – and will shun those that don’t.
Make a choice that will boost your brand reputation and customer relationships.
BECOME MORE SUSTAINABLE
No sneaky plastic liners, special coatings or oversized packages stuffed with non-recyclable filler. Just paper from sustainable sources, water-based adhesive – and air! Custom-fitted to minimise raw material use, and 100% recyclable at kerbside by consumers. A zero-waste solution designed for the circular economy by a business with a genuine desire to save the planet.
REDUCE TRANSIT COSTS
Flat-packed in shipping and easily assembled, our ThermaLITE range saves on space, cost and environmental impact, even when not in use. Designed with the product lifecycle in mind.
