Sales Manager – M62 Corridor

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 plus OTE bonus (dependent on training & experience)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Searching for new customers and opportunities to increase revenues – aka pipelined business
  • Responsible for developing a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Attending trade shows, networking events, customer site visits
  • Initiating face to face meetings with new customers
  • Presenting pre-production samples
  • Managing customer issues and negotiating a solution for the business and the customer
  • Ultimately responsible for the customer and the accounts
  • To promote and sell the range of company products to a variety of market sectors
  • To secure a rolling monthly turnover of new business
  • To successfully manage and grow an inherited account portfolio
  • To utilise knowledge of the market and competitors to identify potential areas of new business
  • To identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • To manage new accounts opened, fully communicating the customer needs
  • To submit weekly reports on your activities
  • To prepare a detailed monthly report on the state of the market and the company’s position within it and comment on the company’s strengths and weaknesses

Additional Notes:

  • Self-motivated, showing the ability to work from home

  • Clean driving licence and holding a current passport
  • Normal customer visiting hours are between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, however needs of the business may require work outside of these hours when necessary

Telesales Representative – Wellingborough

Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 per annum dependant on skills & experience

We are searching for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Telesales Representative, to contribute in generating sales for the company, to grow and develop the business. The successful candidate will need to be a brilliant communicator who can demonstrate a successful track record within a Telesales role, ideally within the packaging industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct own research to find new customers and opportunities to increase revenues
  • Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Initiate face to face meetings on behalf of the Field Sales Managers
  • Upsell products to new and existing customers
  • Utilise market and competitor knowledge to identify & contact potential new customers
  • Execute targeted direct mail campaigns to increase product exposure
  • Have great communication skills and a real passion for excellent customer service
  • Provide admin support & holiday/sickness cover for sales support team

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous outbound telesales experience B2B ideally within packaging industry
  • Be driven, ambitious and self-motivated
  • Have a proven track record in hitting targets
  • Be IT literate and capable of maintaining spreadsheet records using excel
  • Familiar with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
